Grove Lane, Camberwell

Best and final offers invited by Wednesday 12th February.

Picture-perfect one bedroom Victorian conversion flat with a Freehold-share (and long lease), a delightful sunny courtyard garden, and own front door.

Find your new pretty pad on prestigious Grove Lane, in the heart of leafy Camberwell Grove Conservation Area.

You are just a seven minute walk from Denmark Hill Station (Fare Zone 2, and on the Overground network), and but a few minutes from central Camberwell and Camberwell Green - for town centre amenities and fab bus routes to boot. Permit-parking is available on the street for residents.

In your front door and immediately to your right is a neat white modern windowed bathroom, with over-bath shower and a cool ceramic Butler sink for your basin. A column radiator and under-basin storage further impress.

Walk ahead for your main room, which pleasingly incorporates reception, dining and kitchen areas (your modern fitted kitchen units are custom-made) and reception spaces, with a timber-framed glazed door out to your courtyard walled ‘city’ garden (which can becomes a bit of a room of its own in the warmer months!).

Your double bedroom is off this main room. It is over 10 feet each way, with a central sash window onto your private garden. There is a built-in wardrobe/cupboard here, pleasingly (so no need to drag one in!).

A great flat in a great spot with lots to do, places to go, and great connections all around you. The Butterfly Tennis Club is just up the road, and next door to this, find Zen Yoga Studio with small classes. Camberwell leisure centre is also a short walk away, on Artichoke Place.

Central Camberwell has a long-standing and growing array of restaurants, cafes, pubs and high-end grocery outlets. We particularly like Gladwell’s, Veraison Wines, TOAD (bakery), The Crooked Well, Forza, Little Cellars, Theo’s, The Camberwell Arms, Lumberjack and Hermits Cave.

For further options, Peckham, Dulwich, Herne Hill, Brixton are all close.

Farmers’ Markets of the weekend are found nearby at Camberwell Green (Saturday) and Myatt’s Fields Park (Sunday). South London Gallery is also a recommend for the weekend.

This patch of south London is heavy on the green space, with Ruskin, Brunswick, Burgess and Myatt’s Fields Parks all local, as well as Lettsom and Lucas Gardens. Burgess Park has a popular and friendly Saturday morning park run.

London Bridge, London Victoria, Clapham Junction, Kings Cross St Pancras and Canary Wharf (via Canada Water) are all quickly reached with multiple transport options close by (Denmark Hill Station is your closest, followed by East Dulwich Station and Peckham Rye Station).

You have wonderful day and night bus links too, from Camberwell Church Street and Denmark Hill. You can connect with the tube very easily at Elephant & Castle, Oval and Brixton - following a short bus trip.
