Gordon Road, Nunhead

Smart and bright two bedroom second floor apartment of 631 square feet, with two private balconies, double-glazing throughout, and a neutral decorative scheme. A secure allocated parking space wraps up the pleasing package.

Gordon Road is a wide, quiet and popular residential street - close to Nunhead Green and village-vibe high street.

You have got three Fare Zone 2 stations within very easy reach/all circa 10 minutes by foot: Nunhead, Peckham Rye and Queens Road Peckham.

Communal areas are neat and well-maintained. Your own front door is on the second floor.

From your central hall, your two bedrooms rest to your left. These are both good sizes: over 13 feet by over 9 feet, and over 14 feet by over 8 feet. The first has a double-glazed door to a cute balcony.

To your right from the front door, you have a useful built-in closet, then a slick internal bathroom, with white suite, large profile tiles, contemporary fittings, and an over-bath shower.

The main event awaits; a large through-room running over 26 feet, with a dual-aspect - incorporating kitchen, dining and reception spaces. From the lounge area, double-glazed French doors open onto a second balcony. This is the perfect spot for a table and chairs.

The fitted L-shaped kitchen is generous, with green wall and base units paired with smart counters. Appliances are integrated and included in the sale.

What’s around? Your closest green space is Nunhead Green. In the opposite direction, you have two little parks which, wonderfully, are being landscaped into one: Consort and Dr Harold Moody.

Peckham Rye Park and Common is a 10 minute walk. Nunhead Cemetery is close, too, and a bit gorgeous - it is one of London’s ‘Magnificent Seven’.

For high street areas, you’ve got Nunhead and Rye Lane. Or walk a little further for East Dulwich’s Lordship Lane.

Restaurants are great in this locale! Kudu Grill on Nunhead Lane, Kudu on Queens Road, and Peckham Bazaar on nearby Consort Road (this one is closest) are three of the hottest restaurants in SE15. Book ahead.

The Bussey Building & Copeland Park and Peckham Levels are also close for the trendiest of pop-up eateries, drinkeries, exhibitions and the like. And Peckham Plex cinema remains dedicated to accessible movie watching (all tickets are 5.99).

The ‘triangle’ at the end of Peckham Rye is busy with an ever-growing number of places to eat and hang out. Mr Bao (Asian), Voodoo Ray's and Banh Banh are all nice spots. The White Horse is a nice local pub. Bellenden Road and Rye Lane provide lots more options.
