Hither Green Lane, Hither Green

Generous split-level conversion flat of 1044 square feet - with its own rear garden section (accessed via the side of the house) - within a handsome Victorian semi, just a nine minute walk from Hither Green Station, and close to cafes and conveniences. There is permit-parking for residents on the local streets.

The property has many pleasing period features - we like the big bay window and multiple original fireplaces, for example. Further, the lease has recently been extended and this is a chain free sale: your luck is very much in!

There is a neat shared hall (there’s just one flat below you). In your own front door and take the stairs to the half-landing area. From here you have the modern windowed bathroom to your left, and a large double bedroom ahead - this is over 10 feet by nearly 14 feet.

Up to the main landing and you’ve got a large double bedroom to your right (of over 12 feet by nearly 14 feet), with the big reception room adjacent - to the front of the building; this is over 16 feet by over 12 feet. It can easily accommodate both seating and dining areas.

Next door is a slim windowed kitchen (of over 10 feet by 6 feet). The front of the house has a westerly-orientation - you’ll enjoy great afternoon light.

It’s up the stairs again for bedroom number three (you’ll note a pretty sash window on the landing by the door here). This is the biggest so far: over 10 feet by over 20 feet.

Hither Green is becoming increasingly popular with young professionals and families alike - for its combination of fast commute to the City and Canary Wharf, leafy disposition and village-vibe.

Hither Green Station is a short walk and will have you in central London in a jiffy, with a 10 minute journey time to London Bridge, or 20 to Charing Cross/Canon St. You’ve got good bus routes too, from the street.

Really locally, you have a Co-Op and Mission Green Organic Food shop. And Drink at Bob's and an independent florist are popular spots on Hither Green Lane itself, as is Cafe Green (on Ennersdale Road, for authentic Vietnamese food). The Station Hotel is a strong local public house, or walk down to Lewisham centre - for bowling, main shops, M&S, Sainsbury's, Starbucks etc. and the daily market (don’t forget trendy foodie Brockley Market on Saturday's at Lewisham College).

If you have little ones or they are on the horizon, Brindishe Manor School is your local Primary.

Green space? Lewisham Park and Mountsfield Parks are your most local parks, then you’ve got Ladywell and Hilly Fields (both with cute cafes). And it’s a 10 minute bus/cycle/drive to nearby Greenwich Park and UNESCO World Heritage Site, or Blackheath Common.
